We all have the ability to be happy and live a happy life. It just depends on how you choose to live your life and what attitude you take towards it.
If you look at it in a negative way you will get a negative outcome, but looking at it in a positive way you will be much more likely to receive positive and satisfying results.
Whatever you choose to do in life is your choice. We all have the power and the resources to make us happy. It is like an inner resource, an inner guidance system that some of us choose to cover up and others choose to recognise.
People come from all walks of life from poor to rich. Some have years of struggle, have endured sufferings and abuse. Others have experienced having everything come easy to them, but are not always satisfied with it. Both sets of people search for happiness.
Where can we get that almost elusive happiness? Money doesn’t bring you lasting happiness. Dwelling on the past doesn’t either. So what can? Even the wealthiest of people are not often happy aprt from temporarily and aren’t living a continuously joyful life – luxurious maybe but not happy. Some turn to drugs and alcohol as a way out.
Some people suffer through their childhood years and this affects them later on in life. When it comes to trust, they don’t have the ability to trust anyone and if they try they don’t feel secure. Unhappiness. Insecurity. Self-worth. When it comes to love and affection they don’t know how to receive or give it because they never were shown it as a child. How do we leave all these years behind and learn to enjoy what life offers? We don’t always have to be unhappy and depressed. Being unhappy not only effects our mentality but also our health. Let us start our journey on the path to happiness. Let’s leave all the unhappiness and negative stuff behind and consciously bring in the positive feelings.
Learning to be happy and forgiving those who hurt you in the past, may not be easy but that’s something you have no choice but to work on overtime. Positivity and learning to let go brings happiness for both you and those around you. You can be happy today, you have the right to be. You’re worth it, remember that. Everybody is, don’t let anyone make you feel that you’re not. If you’re not succeeding in one thing, you may succeed in something else. Being happy and positive enlightens and nourishes the heart. You need to learn that you can’t change the things, that can’t be changed but that you can take positive action on the things that can.Soon you will live a happier and healthier lifestyle.
Be grateful for what you have as many people may not be as fortunate as you, so make the most of it.
Be optimistic. Follow your gut instincts, your inner knowing or intuition. Speak your mind. Stay close to your friends and family. Find happiness in the job you have now, even whilst planning for change. Smile. Be confident. Don’t let people’s negative moods and attitudes affect you.Leave the past behind and concentrate on today. Live in the present moment.Today you can make a change. Have patience and remember that after hardship, often comes ease.
